If you’ve forgotten your Plug password, don’t worry, you can still access your wallet, as long as you have your seed phrase.
Plug uses two layers of protection:
Your seed phrase is the master key to your wallet
Your password protects access to Plug on a specific device
The two are independent. Your password can be reset at any time by re-importing your wallet with your seed phrase.
🔄 How to Reset Your Password
If you want to access Plug again on this device, follow these steps:
Open Plug
On the welcome screen, tap Import Wallet
Enter your 12-word seed phrase
Set a new password for this device
Tap Import
This will restore your wallet with a new password.
Your new password will apply only to this device. Other devices where Plug is installed will keep their own local passwords.
📌 Note on Sub-Accounts
After re-importing, only your main account will appear by default. You can regenerate your sub-accounts from within the wallet.
Security Reminder
Your seed phrase is the only way to recover your wallet. If you lose it, there is no way to regain access, not even through Plug support.
Never share your seed phrase, and always store it securely offline.
