If your sub-accounts don’t appear when you import your Plug Wallet onto a new device, follow this guide to restore them.

If you can’t locate your sub-accounts after opening Plug Wallet on another device, it’s likely due to how sub-accounts are handled when re-importing your seed phrase. Here’s what you need to know and how to resolve the issue:

Understanding Sub-Accounts in Plug Wallet

When you create a Plug Wallet, it automatically generates a primary sub-account. If you create additional sub-accounts (e.g., sub-account 1, 2, 3), they are tied to the same seed phrase. However, when you import your wallet on another device using your seed phrase, only the primary sub-account (sub-account 1) will appear by default.

To view your other sub-accounts, such as sub-account 2 or 3, you need to regenerate them. This process doesn’t create new accounts but restores the existing sub-accounts linked to your wallet.

How to Restore Your Sub-Accounts

  1. Open Plug Wallet and log in.

  2. Select Your Wallet Name from the main screen.

  3. Click "Add Another Wallet".

  4. The system will automatically regenerate your existing sub-accounts before creating any new ones.


This process ensures your previous sub-accounts reappear, along with their associated asset, without creating new ones. After the regeneration, you should be able to see all your sub-accounts as they were before.
